Why prevention remains important
Pets remain part of many households, and fleas can exploit the places animals rest. Prevention is therefore an ongoing task, even after an established infestation has been brought under control.
Guess what, so do fleas. And as long as you have pets close to you, the fleas will try to catch a ride inside your home.
My philosophy has always been that it’s better to prevent flea infestations than to treat them, because it can quickly escalate and get out of hand once the fleas have decided to move in. It’s just a lot easier and much less time-consuming to keep the fleas out than to fight a full blown flea infestation.
That’s why this guide not only teaches how to get rid of fleas but also how to keep them far away from your home, family and pets.
