I recently obtained 10 baby chickens. Can they get the same kind of fleas as dogs and cats? Do you know anything about the fleas they do get? They burrow into bare skin around eyes, and must be removed from the birds by tweezers, even if dead. Of course, birds can get severely damaged eyes from scratching, even causing blindness.
People say use DE, but I am sure that doesn’t take care of them all, since I am having such problems with fleas on dogs.
I live in Maryland, we have these Stick Tight fleas. These attack me, they don’t bite other people in here, I have Graves Disease, I’m wondering if this is why I’m being singled out, pretty much? I also wanted to say that we live in an apartment and it is the bottom one, the property management DOES NOT spray the grass. I had asked. They send these exterminators in here and try to call me a liar. Now a new one came in yesterday and acted like I was nuts. I told her these stab into the skin, trying to let her know I’m not kidding. I’ve got these on sticky rollers and I took my phone and I can see the pointy beak they have, I’ve been getting bit for 21 months, I’m worried that if they don’t use the right stuff, I’m in trouble still. Can you help me and tell me what I should give to the management so I can stop being bit? Thank you. I would appreciate what you can do to help.
