Noticed fleas while renovating home

So we are renovating some parts of our home and recently noticed fleas. We treated our cat and started vacuuming everything multiple times a day. We cannot fog due to unsealed openings and “stuff” being displaced throughout the area that we do not want to be in the fogged area and covered in pesticides. Also, we cannot move our sleep number to spray or sweep underneath. We believe it is confined to the first floor because our second floor has an air conditioner that keeps the rooms pretty dry. What would you suggest?
