So I’m in the middle of a move, from one house to another about 30 miles away. I live with two adult cats that are inside only cats. I have a few theories about how after almost 10 years here, fleas have found us. Regardless, they have found us. The planning and execution of this move did not include a what to do if fleas show up, currently I am awaiting a shipment of Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth. In the meantime, I’m thinking of getting flea collars. I am concerned with toxicity as it relates to the cats.
Best and safest brand of collar on the American market?
The big guy has a band of white from his forehead down the bridge of his nose and I can see the fleas there having a picnic if you will. I can’t quite see trying to use the comb there… Thinking of giving a bath with warm water and dawn detergent. Trying to give them relief until the move is completed, which will be traumatic enough for them…
Any advice in the meantime?
