I thought I had killed all my dog’s fleas but when I was petting his ears, I freaked when I saw many fleas running around the pink under-side of his ear. I immediately put some spray on my fingers and wiped the area. About ten died. I wiped further in and three came running out and died! I turned him around and killed some more and found some more on the pink area but not within his ear. I am so afraid that some might still be further inside his ears. I then found one on his neck.
He suffers from chronic ear infections. We just completed a round of ear medication and he was still shaking his head. Now we are on vacation at the beach and won’t return to our vet for a week. Whenever he shakes his head I’m worried about fleas. I’m constantly checking him. Sometimes he naps. He wouldn’t do that if he had a flea in his ear, right?
