Hi! I have tile in the kitchen & laundry room. Fleas have burrowed into the grout. These nasty creatures are ruining my new floors! Fleas are also burrowing into the calk in the bathrooms! We have only 1 room with carpet. The remainder of the house is hardwoods or tile. I have been diligent & followed all of the suggested instructions on the internet. One of my cats sleeps in my closet. I wash the blanket she sleeps on
regularly in hot water. The little tadpole looking fleas are in in clothes. Ugh! HELP! I feel like I’m going crazy. The nasty fleas are always a step ahead of me. I forgot to mention the fleas are in the foam cushions inside a fabric sofa & love seat. As well as my leather sofa & love seat.
I will be grateful for suggestions on how to take my house back.

I use a mixture of strong white and apple cider vinegar and boric acid along with salt and put it in a hand held sprayer and spray down everything including my pets. So far I have had no problems. I do wash my pets weekly with dawn dish washing liquid and leave them in there for 15-20 minutes with a lot of suds and soapy water. I just keep talking to them to keep them calm. This does seem to do the trick and you can also spray around your house outside where they find fleas with the vinegar and boric acid solution and add salt because the salt dehydrates the fleas.March 19, 2017 at 8:42 AM #64629
